From the Realm!

Hi! I’m Dianne Lynn Gardner and this is my studio where I find most of my characters getting primped for their appearances in my novels. At the tip of my brush are Ian and Elisa, having a conversation about their experiences with The Dragon Shield. We all live in the Pacific Northwest, and though the weather is wet and rainy, it gives us plenty of opportunity for creative pursuits. I was really excited when I first met Ian. It happened one day when I was painting Stenhjaert, the dragon (have you seen him? He’s huge!). Ian whispered in my ear, “Some day I’m going to take that guy on.” I nodded. I knew what I had to do. He was only a teen back then, so I gave him a little opportunity to grow up in Deception Peak, and he’s returned, as determined as ever. I hope you enjoy his tale in The Dragon Shield!
