I began work today on the third panel, the cover for Rubies and Robbers. Bear in mind, I'll be painting the cover, photograph it, and then finish the dragon's wing and tail, which will overlap part of the boat.

I have a dilemma perhaps you can help me with. I've reworked my map in oils and would like an opinion on which one you think would work best in my books.

Work In Progress Triptech

It's been quite awhile since I posted any work in progress reports of my artwork for my books. So I'm now posting the next installment of the triptych. Each section will have cover art for each of the trilogy. When finished, the painting will be 9' X 4'.  My goal is to hang the entire work at the Crazy Lady on 4th Street Gallery in Bremerton, WA in September at my first book signing. I hope to be working on the third panel very soon!

Cassandra's Castle Acknowledgements   I had forgotten to upload the image of the finished oil painting that will be used for Cassandra's Castle. Many thanks to my friend Rose who sent me photos of some magnificent castles in Portugal, it's fantasy facimilie location in the Realm known as Alissubo, a place where Cassie finds herself in a huge amount of trouble. Riding the horse is Jovita, (modeled by Nancy Frye and her horse at the Tilbury Event) but we'll learn more about her later.
